Graveside rites for Mrs. Ellen J. Hopkins, former resident of Crawfordsville, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hopkins, 77, died at an Indianapolis nursing home. Her husband, Ray Hopkins, preceded her in death many years ago. The deceased, had been employed as a government clerk in Washington, D.C. before her retirement. She was the daughter of Walter D. and Jennie Hopkins Jones. The Jordan Funeral Home at Indianapolis is in charge of arrangements. - jlr
